  • The Minister for Economy and Industry, María Jesús Lorenzana, this morning congratulated the Galician company Vig-Sec Drone after it was selected to take part in the DIANA (Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic) acceleration programme driven by NATO. It will do so with the mid- and low-altitude air space management and tactical coordination platform called the ACRE Suite, within the framework of the Mission Track phase.
  • Lorenzana, who last week visited the premises that this Pontevedra-based firm has in the municipality of Nigrán, welcomed the fact that the Galician technology company, which specialises in aeronautical services, training and the development of air space management software, is part of a select group of 15 companies worldwide whose innovative solutions are considered to be of high added value for the countries that make up NATO. Precisely, participation in this phase of the technology accelerator will give them the opportunity to present their technology to the Defence departments of the countries that make up the Alliance.
  • Finally, the head of Economy and Industry recalled that Vig-Sec Drone has grown with the support of the Xunta de Galicia through accelerators such as BFAero or ViaGalicia, as well as with the direct participation of Xesgalicia in its capital.
