- As the director explained, with the new specialised accelerator driven by the Xunta in collaboration with Asime and Cluergal, “we want to combine the experience of our traditional industry with the mental and digital agility of new startups”. Thus, he insisted that with this new Business Factory “we seek to drive hundreds of startups and innovative projects in the energy field and consolidate an increasingly competitive business ecosystem”.
- In addition, Fernández Vila highlighted the strategic role of the energy transition as one of the great opportunities for industrial development in Galicia. In this vein, he pointed out that BF Energy has been created with the objective of identifying and accelerating innovative projects capable of responding to the sector’s challenges, fostering collaboration between startups, lead companies, technology centres and the energy value chain as a whole. “It has been created, in short, to be the secure bridge between the talent of our entrepreneurs and the demanding reality of the global market”, he underlined.
